The Eagles made two roster moves after Thursday’s exciting home opener win.
LB Rashaan Evans released from practice squad
Evans signed to the practice squad on Tuesday. He was not with any team either in Training Camp or in the preseason.
The 27-year-old played in 76 games in his career, starting 67 of them. He has recorded 476 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, five fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
Last season, Evans started all 17 games for the Falcons. He recorded a career-high 159 tackles and two fumble recoveries. His 159 tackles were the seventh most in the league.
Trey Sermon exempt from injured reserve
Sermon signed to the practice squad last September, preparing for two games on the active roster.
The former third-round pick played in all three preseason games for the Eagles, scoring a touchdown in each.
