Pop rock artist Olivia Rodrigo will make a stop in Toronto as part of her upcoming “Guts” world tour.
The “Vampire” singer announced the tour Wednesday morning, with just one other Canadian tour date in Montreal.
Rodrigo will play at the Scotiabank Arena on March 29.
The last time Rodrigo was in town to promote his debut album “Sour,” he played at Massey Hall, a venue that seats approximately 2,752 people. With the “Guts” tour, Rodrigo will substantially expand his presence, as the Scotiabank Arena has capacity for approximately 20,000 fans.
“Guts,” released on September 8 of this year, has been critically acclaimed, receiving a perfect score from Rolling Stone and quickly earning the “instant classic” label. Rodrigo’s sophomore album is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s “Sour,” which earned the singer seven nominations and three wins at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Tickets for the “Guts” tour date in Toronto go on sale September 21. In the meantime, fans can register for a chance to receive a Ticketmaster pre-sale code.
